My first reaction to report was a sigh of relief! Then upon looking at it I believe it is very friendly, tomorrow we will have a much better idea.

For several weeks now feeder pigs have been increasing every week from 2 to 6 dollars a week, also the weekly slaughter for some time has ended up being less than was predicted at beginning of week. We probably have had some PRRS at work as the numbers are not as great as was predicted. The states of NC and OK both stood out as kept for breeding was 100% and 97%.

Another case of ASF was reported out of China today. This was in a new province and on a large hog farm of about 12000 head! We should never be glad of someone else's misfortune as it might hit us!! That has been one of my worries about being Long along with the political climate from day to day!!
