Thanks DH & Itz for your post's, I do enjoy them! DH, like you these V's are confusing to me. I am short dec, feb, and april, however I just couldn't stand it so I had to sell a couple of VVV's yesterday! Today has been interesting as I am heavy short in feb followed by april then dec and finally oct. This whole market makes me nervous at times but I believe the producers are expanding and if all the hogs that have not gone to market that you have noticed are in the gilt pens we are in for a downhill ride!
