that packers are running more of their hogs through their plants and backing up the non-packer hogs a little so it is not surprising that they are not taking your hogs right now.

The six-day moving average weights on packer hogs have fallen from 219.01# on 5/2/14 to 211.52# yesterday for a drop of 7.49#. Non-packer hogs are only down 3.61#.
