It would be nice if the model was as effective at projecting the price of deferred contracts as it is in projecting the front month when they gets close to expiry. That being the case, I have almost totally defaulted to trading the front month as outrights and the deferreds as calendar spreads. That makes my broker happy because he gets twice as many commissions.

I'm sorry to hear you concluded to give up skiing but, believe me, I understand. I'm also having to give up a lot of things but sitting at the computer trading hogs is an acceptable substitute and having cyber-friends who also have the addiction helps.
