Re: DH, I was expecting a slow day

as I thought Dec hogs would battle over the 67.00-67.50 most of the day. I had my fishing lines set @ 67.50 north end and 66.95 south end and turned my focus to other responsibilities. I didn't expect anything until we got to the 2nd hour of trade. Was a bit surprised when I heard my hit alarms but shocked when I saw it was my south lines and even more shocked when my 66.30 target was hit before I had time to calculate adjustments for damage control or targets. Oh what fun when I can make a $500 deposit in les than 20 minutes. It takes at least 30 minutes for anxiety to set in. I did leave 50 cents on the table which could turn into more before the day is over.

I will never complain about a surprise gift of $500. Yes, I do love the chase but fishing continues to prove to me, that the surprises are what usually adds value to my bank account over time. The chase tends to bring anxiety into the picture but the fishing surprises are pure joy, free from anxiety along with a deposit. Life doesn't get any better, just throw my lines out and wait for the dinner bell to ring. Some days the dinner bell doesn't ring so a streak of those days tends to take my focus to other areas which sets up a surprise for which I have pre set mechanical orders that get placed when the hit alarms go off. This keeps me from taking too much time arguing with myself for what to do. After my risk and target orders go in, then I spend some time arguing change or leave them alone. Today I was still in the middle of the argument when I heard the deposits being made.
