that packers have 69K fewer hogs scheduled today than they had on this date last week and they are down 183K on a year-over-year basis. That is down 8.23%. If the last H&P report was fairly accurate, I would have anticipated that the scheduled number would be down something like three to four percent - not more than eight.

And so the suspense continues.
