about a directional change for the week of the 10th. I'm expecting a reversal to the upside for an extension to 170-171 for my long April herd of cattle. I've had the 17th of April marked as my favored choice for the cattle market to put in their spring highs. I've been telling my cattle wranglers I don't want to be long anything after the 20th of April and I'm even a bit nervous about the 17th. I want to have all my short June in place by the 17th and if I'm able to load my boat on June @ 163.00-163.50 by the 12th I will do it.

The 10th-12th has positive cycles rotating that favor up for cattle. The door is wide open for April to 170-171 and I have enough faith in the cycles next week to add to my long April @ 166.67. They may or may not have left over topping sideways fumes into the 17th. Those friendly cycles disappear quickly by the 20th and replaced with seasonal negativety into mid May. I expect an 8-10 dollar drop into mid May on the June contract. My one fear is my over confidence could prove to be my jinx but I'm not too confident to forget about Damage Control, so my radar will be watching for the market to do something not on my radar next week. If I can get half of my short June on before I make a deposit on some of the long April, that will ease my anxiety a great deal.
