impression that you are probably right that the ZZZs will be the "Whipping Boy" and we may have to wait for the GGGs to give up the big run. Producers may have enough hogs in their finishing pens to keep the kill firm this fall. It does appear that the current firm kill rate may be partially linked to producers liquidating some heavies. The last H&P report suggests that there are a few more hogs coming along behind that may cause packers to have quite a bit of product to peddle.

I'm looking for a chance this morning to put a short scalper in place. I almost had it a few minutes ago but the ZZZs turned south in front of my order.
