Hi ITZ... I am in western Illinois. We were in a drought area from northern Missouri, SE Iowa, into western Illinois. We only had 2 rains in July...6/10 inch and 8/10 inch. The lawns were brown and the corn curled most days. Despite that, the crops are good. I 'm sure better than the heavy rain areas 100 miles north. The corn that we've been in , is a little better than last year. The nice part is the low moisture. Last year we started around this time and the corn was 25%. It never did dry down. Will start the beans next week, and I'm sure they will be much better than last year. We finally had some late summer rains, and they look good.
