is HISTORY. I WASHED MY HANDS of that dirty booger at the open. All of the anxiety wasn't a total waste. Many lessons learned from the many anxiety challenges. I didn't make any donations but it could have easily been a disaster with one wrong move or failure to use fishing tactics on the bullish cattle surprises, could have easily, Beat Me Bloody! Proof that you don't dare fall asleep or de-focus during trading hours. I haven't figured it up but I'm guessing I did profit 6-8 dollars from fishing scalps on the cattle market and there was a time frame that I was short June cattle, long April cattle, and long June hogs trying desperately to stay afloat.

I did fail to do proper research for this spread by ignoring the fact that nothing has a 100% addiction. I know that and know it well but chose to ignore it and not do the research of digging into my vast amount of trading notes that I started back in 2001. That process is a time consuming process but pure LAZINESS and INFLATED EGO allowed me to take the easy road. It turned out to be very rough and rocky and could have been full of donations. In early March I choose to ignore a 3 star note from 2008 when I was first learning the advantages to spreads and my niche for their use. The heading on that note "short June cattle/long June hogs, very difficult this year, has not preformed liked it has-----research for answers." Why I didn't open that page to see what answers I had come up with, is beyond me. I remembered thinking about it several times but I was overloaded with short April hog hedges, I choose not to take the time to do proper research for my pet spread that I enjoy every year. Pure LAZINESS.

Last night I was up late and dug into that 2008 note file-------SHIVER ME TIMBERS!!! people don't believe cycles have merit-----I was slapped in the face with what played out in 2008 rotates back through with perfect cycle balance rotation for the cattle/hog spread. I have been aware of and mapping the hog cycle similarities and rotation off of 2008 but ignored the possibility that cattle could/would also play on the same cycle rotation. Well-----I guess I deserve the anxiety I heaped on myself, since I'm an avid CYCLE RIDER, my cycle maps are always part of my fishing gear. Because of my laziness----I probably deserved a Big Donation for my efforts to sail this years Titanic----the cattle/hog spread. I went to bed last nigh and got up this morning knowing what had to be done-------ABANDON SHIP!!.

Now I have an abundance of Hallucinations to deal with and a lot of homework as I try to decipher how much similarity we continue to see play out for the 2008/2017 cycles and trading projections for the rest of the year. Cycle similarities are very useful but also very difficult to decipher what's meaningful and what's not. This brings on a mass of Hallucinations to sort through. I start by eliminating the weak ones and then trade the strong ones when the door opens for reality potential. When the door opens and the line is waiting to board is basically empty------its time to pick the best seats and then fish while the unloading/loading shuffle plays out. Always good fishing when the shuffle song plays.
