yesterday and a little bit today. Dec hogs had triggered a minor buy signal for me on Friday with the move above 46.00 and are now attempting(thinking about) to go after a major resistance area @ 49.20. A weekly close above that triggers a major Dec weekly chart buy signal. Since the addictive 30 day cycle, hogs have used all year, will be at a crossroad for choices to be made at the cycle window Nov 4th-7th. Needs 3-4 days to set up a potential topping rollover pattern(which my bias favors) or a potential extension pattern higher. My timing guess is that the choice between one of these choices will be made in the next 4 trading days. I favor 48.50-49.20 being a stopper but there is a Wild Card the hoggies might play that would really ramp up the panic and confusion to start packing in the crowds for the Northbound.

That Wild Card that I have to respect the possibilities of being played-------the $10 Addiction could give us a pop to the 50.70-51.10 area(downtrend line off the highs) for the $10 fix for Time & Price squaring at my potential daily count cycle completion window on Nov 7th-8th. I'm not saying it has to happen-------that is just the upper range of the potential $3 target area in the crosshairs of price projection for Dec hogs. I'm sure there are still plenty of short Dec that could opt to hit the panic buttons.

When confusion is ramped up, the fishing weather ramps with it. I took the clues last week and managed to take producer profits on all Short Feb and even had half of our Dec stops hit when it moved above 46.00 on Friday. If it cracks above 49.20 they will only have 25% of their hedges left in operation. Those remaining hedges were put on between 56.00-58.00 and I'm trying to draw up plans for their forced exit which my bias really doesn't want me to do. These things need to be done when I'm still thinking clearly.
