What gives?

Are there fewer hogs than reported?

Or-

Are hogs finishing slower than usual because of hot weather?

Carcass weights are falling which suggests that producers are current in their shipments unless hogs are finishing more slowly.

My bias is that there are fewer heavy hogs than the USDA reported.

So-

I just bought a NNN pig at 83.225 which looks like a plenty stupid move at this point in time.
