I had never heard that line about old and bold traders. That seems to be very true but I would probably have to take Dewey off of that list of fallen Old & Bold traders. I don't mean that in a bad way but like myself he is in the older category. I would have to put him on the Bold side of the equation, at least compared to the amount of courage I have. I do have great respect for his GUTS of STEEL. I couldn't live like that but if I needed someone to watch my back, "I would pick Dewey".

The words of wisdom are in the line, "the market teaches to not throw caution to the wind". I can usually tell how much trading experience a new contact has, by the amount of caution coming from them when discussing a PLAN. I would even venture to guess that Dewey is even more cautious than he was 10 years ago. Trading caution, has been burned into my soul due to the survival instinct but I still seem go brain dead and relearn old lessons once a year. All part of being human, we are addicted to error.
