Goof afternoon Itz, Glad you had a good day. I hope my day was good! I won't know until later. Today I started a new long position in June, July, and August. If hogs are weak tomorrow I will add to position as everything seems to be getting friendlier with the hogs. The cutouts were up over a dollar and the cash on hogs was also up. I also noticed DH said they were going up but he didn't know when!

A lot of hedging has been going on with the hogs it seems to me and I have always thought after the farmer gets hedged he will be thinking "why did I do that"!! It seems the market always puts a scare into you, regardless of who you are. If you jump ship instead of a steady course you will be in trouble!

Also, the farmers should be getting busy with their fieldwork. You have a better handle on that than I do.
