2/20/15 was UP +$0.35. It has been a mighty long time since we have had a pop higher in the Purchase Index. The model projects that the component on Friday's kill will fall in the range of +0.15 and -0.15. A bottom may be in and the question is, "How fast will the Index rise and how high?"

Packers bought lots of hogs on Friday and they already had large numbers scheduled.

Last week my wife of more than 60-years went into hospice care. Don't really have my mind on hogs today.
