moved up to 216.39#. That is + 2.89# yr/yr. The gain was all packer hogs getting heavier. Actually, the non-packer hogs were mildly lighter. And the number of packer hogs killed yesterday was a bit higher at 33.8% of the kill. It has been running below 32.5%. It might be that packers have expanded their production more than non-packers. Last summer it appeared that packers were hit harder by the PED virus than non-packers. They seem to be producing hogs now.
