shows that packers have 84K more hogs scheduled for the next seven days than that had at this point last week. Relative to this date last year they have +7.94% more hogs scheduled. That's a fair number more than projected from the last H&P report. And the weights continue to out pace last year by more than two pounds. Cut outs are holding up quite well so packers are doing all right.

Chatter says that is not the case with beef packers.
