1/14/15 was down -0.20 to 75.88. The GGGs and the index are mostly moving in lock-step at this point but I anticipate that something will come along and cause a de-coupling.

The six-day moving average carcass weight was essentially unchanged at 216.74#. That is +2.44# yr/yr. Packer hogs were a little heavier and non-packer hogs were lighter and the off-set each other.

It appears there is going to be continued weakness in the Index for a while longer.
