producers have expanded. The kill so far this week is +4.23% yr/yr and that comes on the heels of last weeks +2.58% yr/yr.

Lots of Cheek'en 'un pork may keep the lid on beef prices.

The limit down in cattle makes me think other traders are thinking the same thing.

Some dope bought 33 Feb cattle/hog spreads this morning at 85.00. They're now at 82.3. That's -$35,000 if he is still in the trade! Ouch!
