upside target was 110.00 when I was waiting for the 86.35 buy target. I was lucky I had a discussion with my hog traders the day before the rug was pulled on the hogs. Some of us had orders working @ 86.35 and they reminded me that throwing orders out early has usually come back to bite us. That jogged my memory out of its sleep and we decided to can the orders and use some patience. I did remember that from many of my sermons. The next day I Thanked Them for being smarter than me.

At this time I believe there is a lot more upside potential for the hogs than cattle but that could change with the right circumstances. I do plan on selling June cattle when/if they get to my target area but I have doubts that they make it happen. Patience paid big time for hogs so maybe I get lucky with the cattle.
