1-5-15 was UP +0.08 to 77.83. That puts the GGGs premium to the Index component by +0.50. The softness in the GGGs the past two days has nearly erased the "Gap".

The six-day moving average carcass weight eased to 216.69. That is +1.95 yr/yr. It appears that producers are nearly current in their shipments. I had thought that perhaps it would take a week or so to catch up but that does not seem to be the case. Packer hogs declined more in weight than the non-packer hogs.
