two days ago, with our short Feb hogs. My producers had been hit with a stubborn streak, actually probably greed but I was happy with the hit on 84.60 and they seemed to be hypnotized with $10 run targets. I even tried to scare them into banking their profits but it didn't work. I finally succeeded today when it bounced off the early low of 81.90. I was really concerned with tomorrow being a potential reversal day in the rotation and Friday could add some extra to a bounce. They wanted to wait for the 11:30 timeframe when we usually find the bottom for the day but I wanted to stop thinking and worrying about it.

I finally convinced all of them get out with a retag of 82.10 and watched it go another 50 cents lower. That leaves them with something to joke about with me costing them 50 cents. I'm just happy I can turn my attention fully to my cattle trades and the crazy corn market.
