Re: Hogs

Hi Tim, with the exception of the Trading Cycle and the Directional Change models the colors are just signaling either an up bar from the last or a down bar. The Directional change will show a half full box most of the time...occasionally it will fill in the box and then labeled a Double directional change as in strength. A directional change can also mean a sharp move in the same direction.

The Trading cycle has three colors green, red and yellow. The Trading Cycle model offers a union of time and direction that enables the end-user determine when a high or low is likely to occur. A red bar indicates a bearish cycle count of time units from the last market high. The higher the red bar, the higher the cycle counts relative to other time units, which indicates the possibility of a market establishing a relative low. A green bar indicates a bullish cycle count of time units from the last market low. The higher the green bar, the higher the cycle counts relative to other time units, which indicates the possibility of a market establishing a relative high. A yellow bar indicates when bullish and bearish cycle counts converge on the same time unit. The higher the yellow bar, the higher the cycle counts relative to other time units, which indicates the possibility of a relative market high and low in the same time unit.

For the turns we focus on the top line of the array the Aggregate…where the highest bar is like what we have here on Oct 10th. There is also a directional change on that date as well. For a long you would want price to be at a red line or bouncing off of one on the high aggregate turning date. Caution is advised as you also have a low aggregate with a directional change the next day on the 11th. You play the red lines or bearish reversals on a closing basis...as long as price doesn't close below a red line then you can expect a reversal...same with bullish reversals. Price and Time meet when you are on a high aggregate date and on a reversal number. that is the best time to enter or exit a trade.

I'll post up an updated array and chart...
