Cash is called fully steady which is a change, a departure from the lower cash that has basically been in place since the last week of June. Hog weights were down 1.5 pounds last week. Butcher hog numbers are projected to run 6% lower than last year for much of the first quarter. The monthly cold storage, due out today should confirm very tight frozen stocks. The hog & pig comes out tomorrow at 2:00. All markets are closed Friday.
