once again, just how difficult and dangerous they can be. I'm always telling guys, you have to keep your track shoes on. This caught me by surprise when Dec broke 79.75 but I was talking to producers about testing the waters for shorts on a bounced back to 81.00 but didn't happen. That is what surprised me the most but I was lucky to be focused enough to have them set sell stops the next day at 79.40. I wasn't smart enough to have them use orders of 5 rather than my cautious 1 lot orders. One is better than none but still has me kicking myself with "what was I thinking". Then our add target was 2 cents too high for the retag the 9 day mov av bounce on the 18th. Don't know why I'm so addicted to hitting targets perfectly. I usually remind myself to cut 10 cents off my price projections.

The Hog & Pig report numbers made me decide to ignore the hog market and focus on the cattle and corn markets that I've been navigating with luck and correctness. I'm working the short side of Dec cattle and Dec corn.
