a very frustrating year for trading. Beyond frustrating for the hogs, I didn't think I would ever put my hog trading on the back burner but I haven't had a hog trade since mid March. The cattle market has been very good to me this year with good cooperation with my Hallucinations and the Rewards have been more than expected. I have to trade the corn market because my clients are my bread and butter but the corn market has had its frustrating moments but the margin is low and the spread margin makes the frustrations very manageable.

I don't know what to expect for next year but 2021 has to be more pleasant than 2020 a year I would like to forget. Several of my hog guys have put their hog business in the history books. I'm just glad I don't live anywhere near Portland-----I had better not get started on that subject. I keep wondering about DH.
