What a difference one-day made in his emotions about the hog market.

I was happy to see that packers were having better luck selling pork today.It is all right with me if there are a few more days like that.

The CME Lean Hog Index component on the 2/28/2020 kill dipped by -0.17 when the 201 report came out today. Not a terribly big "Hit". Packers gross margins are at $22.36/ Index hog so they may not be feeling a lot of pressure to push hogs down.
