Packer hogs were down nearly 1.0# while non-packer hogs were only down 0.33#. There is a hint here that packers are pulling their hogs forward to meet their needs. My hunch is that the decline in carcass weights is a function of warmer weather but hogs being pulled forward is likely part of the explanation, also
