I'm not really a patron but better known as a lurker in the bushes reading the comments
from You and Your interesting posters. I'm trying to learn more about the Hog mkt.

So I decided It was time to post appreciation to You for providing this interesting forum and those that share their opinions.

Back in the days when I had much more ambition then money,
I used to raise as many hogs as I could handle and then later bought feeders and fed them out in confinement.
Those were the days that hogs were known as the mortgage lifter, and back then I certainly needed a lift.

But even tho we had our ups and downs, The hogs we raised and fed proved their reputation -
even tho feeders were at give-away price at at one time - We were in position to fill our facilities and feed them
til the next summer when they were much better priced. That year was a big bonus for us in paying down debts.
So, That's what I know about the Hog cycle You refer to.

Even tho I haven't been very successful "yet" in trading the hogs on paper,
I have learned a lot about the Hog mkt from reading this site.

I think it was about a year ago - already - when You mentioned you were considering whether to continue the forum
for the upcoming year 2019. I'm certainly glad You decided to continue it and I hope
You will keep it going for quite some time.

So - It's hi time I thank You for for all you do and share - as well as those posting on this site

I hope you had an enjoyable Thanks-giving week and - since its December already -
