10/30/19 was down -064 and the model projects the component on yesterday's kill will drop between -0.35 and -0.65. By the time the final reports came out, packers had decided to get on with dropping their cost of pork. Not surprising considering the way the price of primal cuts eroded yesterday.

With their lower bids packers purchased 87.5% of the moving average daily purchases of total hogs and 93.9% on the Index hogs.

And so the volatility in the hog market continues.
