9/30/19 was up +0.24 and the model projects the component on yesterday's kill will be up between +0.15 and +0.45. We are clearly on an uptrend.

Packers purchased 74.6% of the daily moving average of total hog purchases and 86.8% on the index hogs. Producers seem to have been a bit slow to ship hogs yesterday. Packers' margins are quite good so they may push the component up a couple of notches again tomorrow.
