9/17/19 was once again very weak and the model projects the component on yesterday's kill will drop between -0.90 and -1.20. Packers are driving very hard to get their cost of pork down. Producers of negotiated hogs were highly motivated sellers.

With their very low bids, packers purchased 94.3% of the daily moving average of total hogs and 98.3% on the Index hogs.
