The 6-day moving average carcass weight firmed to 211030#. That is +2.12# yr/yr. Index hogs were also heavier at 210.60#. Packer hogs are lighter than the non-packer hogs by -0.22#. Packers are still shipping about 40% of the daily kill and that is up quite a bit over the past year.
