Q/V spread. There is generally a good bit of action in that spread as the market struggles to decide how soon the fall decline will set in. I had several long Q/V20 spreads and have taken profits on all but four. I noticed that a couple of them are near my profit target. As you know, the sows that will produce the Q/V20 market hogs have not been moved into the breeding pens yet. This means that no one has any idea where the Q/V20s are headed. It probably does not matter whether you buy or sell, If your profit target is reasonable and you are patient, you will make money.
