I've gotten a bit curious about hogs and such and am looking for some kind of guide on how to get started. Where would I go to see prices? What part of the cycle are we in? How long do people usually sit on their hogs before selling? How often is there a crash? ie. infectious disease in the hogs.

I was wondering if you guys might be able to help me out.
