Well you have been doing this (and doing it well!), for a long enough time to make a claim to all those things Kipling referred to! If nothing else, you can claim that you did it your way! But more than that, you have never given up despite those downturns, and you have also had great success along the way... and you have set a great example to those around you in countless ways! Fully expect you to keep hanging on for the ride for a long time to come! :)
