Good morning to all, DH, I am in this market for the long haul as I believe pork is going to get scarce and expensive in the next year.

Smithfield plant in Va is down all week to change their line to ship carcasses to China
ASF is spreading rapidly in Viet Nam
China has lost 9% more sows than exist in the entire US sow herd

The trade war is not going to be solved in the near future but bacon & pork chops still taste good and the tariff is only going to delay shipment I believe.

Hopefully I can stay well margined and stay in the game!!
