The six-day moving average carcass weight was steady at 215.06#. That is +0.98# yr/yr. Index hogs are a bit lighter at 214.04#. Packers continue to bring their hogs to market heavier now at a +3.21# but it does appear that packers are getting a bit more current in their shipments,

The uncertainty in the hog market continues and it will most likely continue to quite a long time as we work through the trade war and the ASF problem in China.
