5/7/19 was down -0.11 and the model projects the component on yesterday's kill will change in he range of +0.05 to -0.25. The MMMs settled premium to the component by 6.70.

With their lower bids packers purchased 60.4% of the moving average daily purchases by the time the afternoon reports came out and 96.6% on the Index Hogs.

Packers should be a bit happier now that they were able to sell the primal cuts 2.78 higher.
