component on the CME Lean Hog Index for yesterday's kill will be late. Getting the component is like getting a test paper back after a professor has thrown a pop quiz - I never know whether to laugh or cry until the paper comes back.

It is not unusual for the component to nudge the futures up or down a little. If it comes out before the hog market closes, I'm suspecting this may be a day when it will nudge things up a little.
