Since you live on the border with Mexico, do you think the president can actually close the border? If he were to do that, it seems to me there would be a huge economic impact that would rattle a lot of markets and could put hogs in a downward spiral.

At this point it still looks like we are in the "Chase" looking for the next Hog Cycle crest. The low of 45.30 set 9/3/18 continues to look like the "Trough" to this cycle and I suspect we will be another 18 to 24 months looking for the next crest.
