9/20/18 was up +1.79 to 59.96. The VVVs are now trading premium to the component by a mere +0.79. There has been a lot of "Gap" closure take place.

The 6-day moving average carcass weight firmed to 209.13#. That is -1.82# year over year. Producers are staying current in their shipments. Index hogs are lighter at 207.72#. Packer hogs were +2.37# heavier than the non-packer hogs. The percentage of packer hogs in the kill mix has been falling. I guess it could be because of Florence and the havoc she has caused in North Carolina.

The VVVs I bought on the opening are doing me no good but the summer futures are all right.
