9/4/15 was UP 0.91 to 46.21. The packers had not been reporting that they were buying a bunch of expensive hogs! But they killed them anyway. The VVVs are now trading premium to the component by +6.33.

The six-day moving average carcass weight eased to 207.65#. That is -1.70# yr/yr. Producers are super current in their shipments. And packers are leading the way in emptying their barns. Packer hogs are now -0.65# lighter than the non-packer hogs. Index hogs were also a bit lighter at 207.23#.

I'm still HODLing the summer futures. Some days I get to scalp one on and off. Today it hit my profit target on one then backed off without giving me a fill. That is the way the ball bounces some days.
