July hogs in an uptrend usually remain that way until at least the first week in July and holds its ground for expiration. Aug likes to tag along at least until it becomes front month but has a 50/50 shot of either Wash Out or being a Copy Cat of the July contract. Oct and Dec are the hog market whipping boys, so they usually have a hard time getting half of any up movement given to July or Aug.

I regret not taking the opportunity at 65-66 on Oct when it was there so briefly. I had talked to a couple producers about that target but we allowed ourselves to be talked into the 67-68 target at the time. That has proven to be a huge error on my part.
