4/25/18 was UP +0.81 and the model projects that the component on yesterday's kill will be up between +0.65 and +0.95. With their higher bids, packers purchased 68.9% of the moving average daily purchases of total hogs and 92.9% on the Index hogs. That was a low purchase number on total hogs and I wonder, "Why??"

The KKKs settled premium to the component by +7.58. That's still quite a "Gap" but the surging price of hogs is rapidly closing it.
