4/9/18 was down -0.18 and the model projects that the component on yesterday's kill will decline between -0.40 and -0.70. Packers still have a fair sized inventory of cheaper hogs purchased so we are probably looking at a couplt more down days for the component. The JJJs settled discount to the component by -0.82.
