Re: DH, the hog market-----

is not cooperating with my attempts to get a long June on for my cattle/hog spread. It keeps forcing my aggressive hedgers into short positions. I had fishing lines working @ 77.75 for everyone this morning but not expecting any hits. We had them there as a defensive move, knowing how easy the market plays the unexpected. My hedgers are now in it for ride until they are forced out with a hit on 78.05. I stuck with the usual plan by making deposits @ 77.20 and 77.00 but I don't see anything yet to dictate I need to get my long back on.

How much longer will they keep beating on these poor hogs? I can sure remember times where I got a lot of satisfaction from beating on them but they brought it on themselves.
