11/8/17 was down -$0.24 and the model projects that the component on yesterday's kill will drop between -0.20 and -0.50. The down trend in the index continues.

Yesterday packers purchased 90.9% of the moving average daily purchases of total hogs and 94.5% of index hogs.

The ZZZs settled discount to the component by 4.71. That is enough to be mildly supportive of the ZZZs.

I'm just a tiny bit short the ZZZs.
