to the conclusion that the only constant in the market place that I can ALWAYS depend on is the fact that time passes. You cannot depend on the markets being open. Weather and other crisis can close them. It is not possible to predict the "UPs" and "DOWNs" with precision. But you can predict that today will end and the market will close for the night and the sun will come up tomorrow whether of not the markets open.

You take advantage of this constant by selling premium that decays away with the passage of time just like insurance companies do.
