It's a volatile Wednesday. The outside markets are taking on huge swings in prices. Weak economic data this morning has everyone keyed up. Lean hogs are down in the mouth after we bought the market yesterday. I was not expecting a $4.00 decline in the pork cutout value last night. Yesterday's lows were penetrated after 7:00 today. We won't stay with our new longs if the market does not gain some traction and recover from current levels. Disappointing trade and makes me worry about what lies ahead in the pork complex. It will be interesting to see if packers crack the cash bids on the backside of the cutout weakness.

Good morning DH, I took a long weekend off but followed the forum. Haven't made any new trades for a few days but still have a sizable position short in Dec & Feb. So far today has sure been good to me!
